Men's Leather Boots

A Chelsea boot in smooth black leather — the pull-on ankle boot with no laces and no hardware, closed instead by an elastic gore set into each side. The gore stretches to let the foot through and then holds the boot against the ankle, which is why a Chelsea stays on without needing to be tightened.

The upper is cut from full-grain leather with a close, even finish that takes a polish and creases across the vamp rather than cracking. It runs as a single clean panel from toe to collar with minimal seaming, which is what gives the boot its sharp silhouette. A fabric pull tab is stitched at the heel so you can get them on without fighting them.

The sole is leather with a stacked heel of roughly 1 inch, welted to the upper so it can be resoled by a cobbler rather than thrown away when the tread goes. Inside, the boot is lined in a natural tan leather. Smart enough for tailoring, tough enough for jeans. Condition with leather balm twice a year; add a rubber topy if you walk them on wet pavements daily.
